Expertise:
- Experience of providing technical support to Government of Andhra Pradesh (PMU-JNNURM, APUFIDC) on subjects related to urban poverty reduction through livelihood development, facilitate community partnership micro projects, promoting PPP projects for informal sector, and render advice to Government on integrating gender, equitable governance and participation in programming.
- Project long term and short term experiences in South Asia (India and Nepal) and Africa (Madagascar) respectively.
- Experience of working with State Government, Municipal Corporations, Private Sectors and other associations in implementing program on health research, malnutrition reduction, social audit, urban livelihood promotion.
- Knowledge on promoting value chain approaches in market led enterprises (Natural Resource based) and Micro Finance Institutions.
Professional/ Work Experience:
- I offer an experience base of 13 years in the field of Project Management in the areas namely: 1. Livelihood security promotion (extensive experience of designing and implementing urban and rural livelihood through Public Private Community Partnership mode), 2. Peace and Conflict Transformation, 3. Disaster Risk Reduction and 4. Health & Nutrition promotion.
- Specific Project experience: JNNURM Programme- Andhra Pradesh, Urban Poverty Project-Gujarat, Flood Response Project- Bihar, Conflict Project- Gujarat, Integrated Nutrition and Heath Project- Chattisgarh, and Super Cyclone Rehabilitation Project-Orissa.
- Presently associated with Programme Management Unit-JNNURM (Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission-Government of AP) as Social & Livelihood Development Expert. I facilitate developing livelihood, social and community mobilization strategy and projects in partnership with Municipal Corporations (Urban Local Bodies), Private Sectors, Civil Society Organisations & Communities in Andhra Pradesh.
