Expertise: Dr. Moshood A. Belewu was the former Sub-Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, University of IIorin, Nigeria between 2002 and 2006. Currently , he is the fead of department of Animal Production of University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He earned his B.Sc Agriculture from Marathwada Agricultural University, India with First class with distinction in 1983. He is also a Gold and Silver medalist of the same University. His M.Sc and Ph.D Animal Science from University of Ibadan, Nigeria between 1987 and 1992. In 2002 he had training in Molecular Biology. Dr Belewu was the General Secretary, Nigerian Society of Experimental Biology (NISEB) and Council member of the same society. Dr Belewu is a member of many professional bodies including Nigerian Society for Animal Production, Member, Animal Science Association of Nigeria, American Society of Microbiology, USA, International Goat Association, USA, American Association for the Advancement of Science and Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology. He is author of 81 national and International scientific papers and also authored “A Functional Approach to Dairy Science and Technology” textbook.
