Description of responsibilities, accomplishments:

Remarkable Work at national level
- I worked as member-secretary of two inter-ministerial working groups (one was for food production and marketing and the other was for agro-processing, food trade, consumption and public health) for “Harmonizing Food safety laws, regulations, standards, control systems and mechanism for facilitating food trade in the SAARC countries” which submitted two reports to the government.
- I served as member- secretary to the National Task Force on Food Safety for preparing national documents for FAO-WHO Regional Conference on Food Safety for Asia and the Pacific held in Malaysia, 2004
- I served at the Working group on Nutrition under Service Delivery Theme Group which framed the nutrition materials for HNPSP of the GOB, 2002.
- I organized 10th SAARC Food Security Reserve Board Meeting on “Formulation of a comprehensive framework on Disaster Management” held Dhaka, 6-7 October, 2004.
- I prepared MOFDM’s inputs on preliminary draft of the report titled “Unlocking the Potential: National Strategy for Accelerated Poverty Reduction”, the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP).
- Worked as the member-secretary of National Task Force formed by the GOB to review per capita daily food requirement for national food planning
- I organized SAARC Expert Group Meeting on “Formulation of a comprehensive framework on Disaster Management” held at ITC, PATC, Savar, Dhaka, 7-9 February, 2006.
- I worked as the member-secretary of interministerial committee formed by the GOB to formulate National Disaster Management Plan.
- Working as a member of Learning, Resource and Development Framework Group formed at the Ministry of Food and Disaster Management relating to Disaster Management
