I did Master’s in International Studies from, The University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2008. My academic background included subjects such as Global Governance, Women Issues and Human Rights Poverty and Human Rights. I analyzed the Influence of Civil Societies on Global Governance. I researched on “Poverty as a special issue in Human Rights”, I wrote essays on “Postmodern Economic Theory in International Relations”, “Strength and weakness of Democratic Peace theory” analyzing the political and economical aspect of democratic peace theory and how its applied in democratic countries and its influence in Global Governance”.
My Dissertation was on “Poverty an Issue of concern for Women in Contemporary India”, where I examined the link between poverty and women in reference to their economic and social status and in context of their employment, health and education in contemporary India. My Dissertation was supported by evidences which include the surveys and data’s done by National Survey Teams in different states of India, further supplemented by case studies.International Studies has immensely contributed to my knowledge in understanding the World’s Social, Global and Economic Causes. It has strengthened my capacity to think of various solutions of Global Issues.
During my academic period I got an opportunity to interact with people of different nationalities having different backgrounds which enhanced my ability to cooperate, negotiate and communicate effectively in a multi cultural environment.
I have extensively traveled and got the opportunity to visit several countries of Europe, Africa, UAE etc. While traveling I was keenly interested in understanding the economic, political culture and Mankind Development in Developing and Developed Countries.
Obtained graduation in History (Hon’s) from DelhiUniversity in 2007, which enhanced my knowledge on political, historical and economic development in European, African and Asian countries.

Presently working in Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, as a Project Officer Job Responsibilities Include- Identifying new groups and constituencies to spread awareness about RTI in India and South Asia; Designing and implementing a strategy to turn the email discussion group- South Asia Right to Information Advocates' Network (SARTIAN) into a vibrant information exchange platform, Maintaining programme-related documentation on a regular basis, Preparing reports on the progress of work.
* 31ST July 2009-- 31st July 2010, Worked as a Reporting Officer, in Indian Red Cross Society, New Delhi. Job responsibilities include-: to Promote collaboration within the team to meet the organizations objectives. Promoted knowledge sharing with the rural and urban communities on different issues, such as Food and Nutrition, Disaster Preparedness etc. Handled Policy- Related Issues. Formulated and implemented Programme Strategies. Associated with different sectors, such as Manufacturing, Disaster Management, Urban Development, District Planning and Development, Supply Chain Management, Rural Development, Capital Markets, Corporate Laws and Governance.
* Conducted trainings for the rural poor for maintaining proper health. Spread awareness to prevent diseases such as, HIV, Tuberculosis.
* Associated with econometric packages and assigned tasks of developing and applying quantitative and statistical methods to analyze data related to economic relationships. Prepared Presentations and Reports on the lack of resources, finances, and fundamental rights in rural areas, and providing possible Solutions through reports.
