Expertise:
I have got a masters degree in action research and school improvement
from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa in March 2002. My
frist degree is in Accounting from the University of Asmara,Eritrea
(July 1996). So I am very much interested in doing research in areas of
education and finance, Technology in Business education, Curriculum and
policy development where I am currently engaged.
Professional/ Work Experience:
Currently, I am working as a curriculum developer for Business and
Economics Education in the Department of Technical and vocational
Education and Training(TVET), Ministry of Education-Eritrea. Duties
involved are: - Coordinator for the Business and Economics Education curriculum development core team.
- Coordinator for certification and accreditation team for TVET
- Secretary for the National TVET Policy Frame work development.
Furthermore,
I have been working as data enumerator and coordinator as part timer
with FABI Consulting PLC in various areas of studies related to
education, poverty reducation and demobilization aspects of the country. I
am also working as a financial advisor, consultant to outsiders and
trainer in Sunrise Computer Center as a part time job. In addition, I
am currently assisting Mr.Yonas Mesfun, PhD student in Tilburg
University, The Netherlands, in coordinating and data enumeration as
well as arranging programmes from Eritrea side.
