The labor market represents an organic part of the market economy system. The labor market is more specific, because the good, which is the exchange object, isn’t a material good. The labor market reflects the national economy structure, its education system and vocational formation, the main principles regarding the population dynamic, the work force mobility, the unemployment rate and the size of investment in human capital.
The author claims that transition from centralized to market economy led to: - increase of unemployment
- increase of employment in the private sector
- lesser stability of work
- growth of labor migration
In the conclusion the paper offers a set of recommendations, which according to the author can help to develop a new policy of employment opportunities. The key recommendations are: - development of friendly business environment
- introduction of proper unemployment policy
- flexibility of labor market
- changes in compensation policy
- creating National Agency of Employment
- encouraging family’s support
