food security policy – supply side: agricultural policy (support policies to the development of the domestic supply), trade policy (in order to set up conditions for commercial imported food supplies in transparent conditions)

The framework policy provides indications on the manner policies are translated into actions by the government. This includes the mandate of the Intersectoral Food Security Committee and of the Food Security Observatory in following up and ensuring that proposed government reform policies are in line with the Food Security Framework Policy.
