Educational Development Centre (EDC) is the professional hub of the Ministry of Education. EDC came into being as the result of the expansion of the Educational Project Office formed on 6th October 1979. Main areas of EDC are curriculum development, educational material production, teacher training, non-formal community education, educational broadcasting and school construction and upgrading.
