The Center for Regional, Coffee, and Business Studies (CRECE) is an institution created in 1986 in order to provide support in economic and social policy and program formulations, based on research dealing with regional problems of the department of Caldas and Colombia. Its mission is to contribute to the generation of knowledge in order to guide the decisions of the actors involved in national and regional development, and to the construction and promotion of long-term purposes.
