CPPC is a public policy institute committed to fostering a strong role for the private sector in Nigeria ’s economic development. It was established as an independent, nonprofit NGO in 1995 and is funded through the US Information Agency. It promotes economic freedom, social justice, and good governance by targeting the public and private sectors as well as civil society. Its goal is to entrench the culture of economic democracy in the Nigerian policy and to become the lead agent for the promotion of economic democracy. It works to promote the conduciveness of the regulatory and operation environments in Nigeria and towards empowerment of individuals. The Center for Public-Private Cooperation is one of the african regional partners/reform network of the Center of International Private Entreprise (CIPE). |
