Beminet Lewegen Medires Be Ethiopia (BLMBE) is a non-governmental, non political and non-profit humanitarian organization founded in February, 2004 by local volunteers, interested in solving tough socio-economic problems in collaboration with government.
The organization’s objectives are to:
- accelerate the development process by assisting government in socioeconomic development
- give technical, material and financial assistance to citizens to help them escape poverty
- research and identify problems in the possible remedies and to take part in the process of mitigating those problems
- ensure the well being of women and children who are the chief victims of natural and manmade disasters
