Asian Pacific Women's Information Network Center (APWINC), established
in Nov. 1996, aims at promoting women's informatization and
women-related communication technologies in the Asia-Pacific region
including South and North Koreas. It aims to promote information-technologies for women and women-related communication technologies in South Korea, North Korea and the Asia-Pacific region in general.
