Reviewed contemporary issues/problems, various stages of value chain/addition especially in major agricultural commodities with export potential, established networks of independent Farmers Fora at regional and central level to advocate the contemporary issues of the farmers and other concerned stakeholders to resolve them at national level as well as to conceive the farmers to new ideas, technologies and facilities and support services to enhance their living standard through market- oriented farming practices. - 2009 July: Consultant/Livestock Specialist, Consolidated Management Services (CMS), Nepal for Saptakoshi Flood-Affected Rehabilitation Agriculture and Livestock Services, Nepal. Reviewed status of livestock and dairy production, assessed the damage and casualty on livestock caused due to Koshi river flood of 18th August 2008, assessed the government and non-governmental initiations to livestock rehabilitation and prepared and submitted a report with strategy and programs for livestock and dairy interventions in flood affected areas, Sunsari, Nepal and submitted consultant report.
- 2007 April- May, 2007: Consultant/Livestock Development Specialist, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Review and Implementation Support Mission, Leasehold Forestry and Livestock Program. Reviewed the status of livestock, dairy/goats and forage programs initiated under leasehold forestry and livestock program in the country, analyzed project achievements and identified potential problems/risks; suggested synergies and co-ordinations between the project and private sectors for further improvements of the program, IFAD, Rome, Italy and submitted consultant report.
- 2005 March- 2006 September: Consultant/Fodder/Pasture Expert, Agri-Business and Trade Promotion Multi-purpose Co-operatives (ABTRACO) for the project "Transfer of Technologies of Canadian Forage Sorghum Hybrid (CFSH-30) to Nepal dairy farmers to raise their income through milk production". Reviewed the status of dairy production and marketing of raw milk in Nepal, identified major dairy grids, analyzed the production practices, implemented programs to improve the year round supply of quality fodder to the small holder dairy milk producers so as to reduce the cost of milk production in a sustainable basis in 16 districts and prepared final project completion report.

- Major duties and responsibilities: Played key role in “District Coordination Committee” comprising all stakeholders/Project team at district level, chaired by Chairperson, District Development Committee in Sindhupalchok district. Supported in Project Planning, Community Development/Livelihoods Improvement. Supported in preparation of annual plan/annual/six monthly report and other progress reports based. Supported in, Women Empowerment Program (WEP) and other activities for the Forest Users Group. Conceptualized the implementation approaches and modalities to facilitate the easy access and income generation opportunities for the landless poor and disadvantage group (DAG) among the Community Forest Users Group (FUG) for enhanced equity and diversifications of the productivity of the community resources. Initiated various approaches on forage, livestock and agricultural production programs for sustainable natural resource management and improved livelihoods. Coordinated/organized capacity building training, study tours and workshops. Initiated and carried out field based research on forage and livestock such as testing of various forage genetic materials on different ecological zones, performance evaluation of newly introduced forage species in private/community forests/landslide and roadside areas through community participation, socio-economic studies and impact evaluation of the initiated programs. Prepared reports of the all completed activities/programs.
