As part of its support for increased dissemination of development knowledge from scholars in developing countries, GDNet is committed to supporting research organizations' communication efforts. This page outlines how to create an Organization Profile and gives details on some of the benefits.

When creating a profile, please nominate a “GDNet contact person” to manage the profile and with whom we can communicate about services for research organizations – this person will ideally be someone responsible for communications and knowledge sourcing at your organization, e.g. a librarian or administrator.

Benefits

By creating a profile, you are registering your organization with GDNet and becoming part of a global policy research community. GDNet is an ever-expanding network of research and policy institutes working together to address problems of national and regional development.

As its mission is to build research capacity and promote translation of research into policy in developing and transition economies, GDN offers a range of funding and capacity-building activities to support research. More »

The Organization Profile provides a simple and cost-free means of supplementing your institution's dissemination activities. Once you have created a profile for your organization, you can submit research papers and documents to the Knowledge Base which will then be linked to the profile. Information on researchers from your institute will also be linked to it if they have a GDNet Researcher Profile.
